Frequently Asked Questions
What will the day look like?
Due to the heatwave and a Code Red heat warning, we have decided to adapt our Pride schedule to prioritize everyone’s health and safety, after discussions with the municipality and the Red Cross. Thankfully, we have been able to find a great alternative ✨
🌈 Instead of gathering outdoors during the hottest part of the day, we’ll begin with the Pride Market, community activities and live performances from 14:00 indoors at Landbouwbelang (LBB) – Biesenwal 3. This way, everyone gets the chance to enjoy Pride in a much cooler and safer environment.
🌈 The march will now begin at 18:30 at Mosae Forum. We’ll be starting with a few short speeches and walk towards LBB (about 15 minutes).
🌈 From 19:00 until 22:00, our amazing performers will put on a great show at LBB.
🌈 From 22:00 until 03:00, the Pride Afterparty will be happening at LBB.
How long does the Pride March last?
Due to a Code Red for high temperatures on 27 June, the March route has been severely shortened. We will start from Mosae Forum at 18:30 with a few short speeches, and will walk afterwards towards Landbouwbelang (approx. 15 mins). At this time, temperatures are expected to be significantly lower, helping reduce the risk of heat exhaustion.
*The route is fully wheelchair accessible.
Will there be an afterparty?
Yes, there will be an afterparty by Pride Maastricht x The Aftermath x arrhythmia at Landbouwbelang (LBB) Maastricht. The party will be from 22:00 until 03:00 and entrance is donation based (€5 – Cash or Tikkie).
Dance, let your creativity run wild, get your face painted, talk to fortune tellers🤫, get tooth-gems💎 and so… much… more✨✨

(identifiable with red LED wrist band).
What do I need to bring on the day itself?
⚠️ HEAT WARNING: Our location changed to indoors to ensure the health and safety of our visitors. The march will be happening later in the day, when temperatures are expected to be slightly lower. Still, make sure to: bring a water bottle, wear sunscreen, bring a hat or umbrella, eat before attending, bring snacks, take any required medication & to check in on friends.
